Both of these teams are scoring at a very high clip right now. They’ve respectively scored in every single match so far this tournament. They both finished 2-1-0 in their groups, and both nations rank inside the top six on the World Cup leaderboard as well.
The Netherlands is a team that I predicted was going to go on a deep run before the tournament started. They were mispriced in the outright futures market, and they are continuing to show exactly why. They’re tied for No. 1 in goals scored per game at 3.3, top six in possession time, and top three in passing accuracy.
I love this squad. They’re going to go on a run. Morocco has had a great tournament, however, I think that run ends today at the hands of this Netherlands team.
